What are Green Meetings?

Green conventions, meetings or events are conducted in ways which minimize the environmental burdens imposed by such activities. Green event planners apply environmentally preferred practices to deal with waste management, resource and energy use, travel and local transportation, facility management and purchasing decisions.

Green meetings make good business sense. They:
